Create Transactions

Transactions in Budget can be created in their own window or in the main window's Transaction Entry form. To create transactions in their own windows see the specific help section for the type of transaction you want to create.

Main Window Transaction Entry form

To show the Transaction Entry form on the main window click the Transaction button in the lower left border of the main window. This button toggles the form on and off the main window. You can also adjust the size of the form by using the slider between the Envelope Area and the Transaction Entry form.

The Transaction Entry section allows you to create any type of transaction. Selecting accounts and/or envelopes on the main window determine the settings of the popups. For more information see the Transaction Entry section.
