Handling Savings Accounts

A savings account is just another form of bank account. Budget can track multiple savings accounts just like it does checkbook accounts. Money in your savings account is distributed among your envelopes in the same manner as for checkbooks.

Everything that you can do with a checking account in Budget can also be done with savings accounts. You can even define pays for money to be distributed in your envelopes. For detailed information see the section Working with multiple bank accounts.
